Freeport East Felixstowe is located within Hutchison Ports Port of Felixstowe, the UK’s largest container port and the only UK port in the Top 50 largest container ports worldwide. Strategically located on the UK’s South East coast and within easy reach of major ports in North West continental Europe, it is connected directly to the world’s major shipping lanes. The port links UK businesses with over 190 countries worldwide, handles 60% of all the UK’s trade with Asia and serves EU markets through regular container and roll/on-roll-off services, making it the port for global trade.

With three rail terminals, the port has the busiest and biggest intermodal rail freight facility in the UK connecting Freeport East Felixstowe with 15 inland terminals predominantly in the Midlands and North.

Freeport East Felixstowe will provide 1.45 million sq. ft. of industrial buildings on a 68-acre site, tailored to the needs of its customers. The site has the key advantage of being located within the port's perimeter. It is less than 100 metres from Berths 8&9 where some of the world's largest container ships berth, only 500 metres from Trinity Terminal and immediately adjacent to Dooley terminal from which ferries to Europe depart three times per day.

Its location provides unique benefits to businesses importing from around the world and re-exporting into the EU.
