Gateway 14 is a 67 hectare site alongside the A14 on the outskirts of Stowmarket and is the largest business, innovation and logistics park in East Anglia.

Offering up to 2.36 million sq. ft. of innovation, business and logistics accommodation, with outline planning consent granted, Gateway 14 is the destination of choice for the region.

The site has the potential to generate thousands of jobs in the region within manufacturing, innovation, transport, storage and retail trade sectors.

The Range was the first occupier secured at Gateway 14, taking a 1,172,160 sq ft facility. The distribution hub for the garden and leisure retailer is now operational and is set to bring 1,650 jobs to the area.

International manufacturer Bauder Ltd has opened its 44,000sq ft distribution centre at Gateway 14, Stowmarket which becomes its biggest distribution centre in the UK. As part of Gateway 14’s commitment to sustainability, Bauder’s new distribution centre has been designed to BREEAM Excellent standard. Environmental features include an EPC A rating, EV charging, LED lighting, solar PV, smart energy systems, and rainwater harvesting. Bauder will soon be joined by Turkish-owned building materials producer Assan Panel, which produces insulation and façade systems for UK and European markets.

Stowmarket Innovation Gateway, a three-storey, state-of-the-art centre will sit at the heart of Gateway 14. See video below.

As well as offering office space for high growth start-ups, collaboration and innovation spaces, meeting rooms and a café, the centre will also be used for training, working in partnership with the Universities of Suffolk and Essex, West Suffolk College, Suffolk New College and Colchester Institute to address the region’s skills gap.

Plans have been approved for a 164,796 sq. ft manufacturing and distribution unit on Plot 2000 at the entrance to the park. This flexible building could be delivered within nine months on either a freehold or leasehold basis.
