Working from the Innovation Centre Knowledge Gateway is not simply renting an office space, it means joining a community of passionate business owners who support each other with advice and collaboration. Run by Oxford Innovation Space, its mission is to help businesses to grow. Memberships include free business coaching from their in-house Innovation Director, access to a wide range of business skills workshops, and support connecting to other development and funding opportunities available in the region.
Located on the University of Essex Colchester campus, the bright, modern, bespoke-built building provides flexible space for growing businesses, from a single dedicated desk to spacious private offices. It also offers virtual memberships and pay-as-you-go hot-desking, with excellent facilities including a private car park, café, showers, pool table and treadmill desks. There is a range of well-appointed meeting rooms available for hire, for everything from Board Meetings to catered events, with delicious in-house catering. Membership includes utilities and high-speed internet, and the centre team is always on hand to provide support, including a professional call handling service.
